We are very
pleased to announce the people who will be serving on the
Transition Team for the Sierra Pacific Synod. All of the
applicants were clearly gifted people who were moved to
volunteer for a big job. Keeping the groups a manageable
size, balancing the various "skill sets", availability for our
kick-off on February 28th and keeping a good mix of lay/clergy
and male/female all came into play as groups were formed.
We thank you all for your time and attention to this
process and look forward to making progress reports
regularly.

for the upcoming Synod Assembly will be coming
out in March. The Assembly is at the end of
May, so this should give plenty of time to
register.
Meanwhile, please be sure that your
congregation's Parochial Report has been submitted, so
that we have an accurate basis on which to determine the
number of voting delegates for your congregation.
All leaders under call will have
the opportunity to have their picture taken
for a new Synod pictorial directory. We
strongly encourage your
