Mission Interpreter Margie Back
Margie serves as the Mission Interpreter Coordinator for our synod...which means, she loves to tell the story--or, rather, the many stories of how and where our mission support dollars go to bring hope and healing and the love of God to others. If your congregation does not have a Mission Interpreter, please contact her at Margieback@aol.com Margie's goal is to have a Mission Interpreter in every congregation of the synod. She will be happy more than happy to hear from you!
The Witness and Service Discipling Team seeks proposals from congregations for the funding of ministries, programs, events or projects designed to address the needs of those in our communities with less resources in the areas of economics, education, transportation, etc. Click here for the description and application.
The Synod Outreach Fund
The Outreach Fund supports new congregational starts, the redevelopment
and transformation of existing ministries and leadership development of
the laity and clergy of the Synod for mission. Here you will find the policy governing the administration of the fund and a
grant application form.
The Warner Trust Fund
The Warner Trust Fund supports congregations in the areas of youth and
Christian education. Congregations may request support (normally in the
$3,000-$5,000 range) for youth projects, schools and pre-school related
projects, and educational ministries.
